I am selling my Halcyon HDV T16 scooter. It is 13 years old, but is in almost mint condition, as it has only completed a total of 10-15 dives. Hardly any signs of use, mechanically absolutely top. The original lead battery is still installed. This is charged and functional, but due to the age of 13 years, the device is expressly offered as the perfect basis for a battery upgrade (e.g. to lithium). I'm selling a Mares XR backplate made of 3 mm stainless steel with complete harness — new and never used — for 199 EUR.

I had planned to use the set as a secondary configuration and never got around to diving with it.

This is included:

  • Mares XR Backplate, stainless steel, 3 mm (approx. 2.5 kg)
  • Complete Mares XR harness, infinitely adjustable
  • D-rings at shoulders and hips
  • crotch strap with D-ring

Not included: Wing/blade and single-tank adapter. The backplate harness system is being sold separately.

Condition — honestly: New and never used, but without original packaging and without a receipt. The webbing is without any signs of wear, the plate without scratches — look at the detailed photos, you can immediately see the difference to a dived harness.

Why stainless steel? The 3mm plate weighs around 2.5 kg. This weight sits centrally on the back instead of on the lead belt — this noticeably improves the trim position and relieves pressure on the hips.
